TEMPORARY FUEL LEVY:

As we are all aware, fuel prices have risen significantly and, up until now, we have been absorbing these costs. Unfortunately, we can not afford to maintain this position. Therefore from 21 April 2026 will be charged an additional fuel levy of $8+gst. We will continue to monitor fuel prices and will review this levy on a regular basis. We appreciate your continued understanding of this issue.

All prices are exclusive of GST.

We charge a minimum of one hour on plumbing, gasfitting jobs, thereafter work is
charged in 15 minute increments.
All services require either bank deposit or online credit card/debit card* payment
upon receipt of the invoice. *Please note credit card/debit card payments may incur a
surcharge. EFTPOS available at the office.
Rates exclude materials.
Estimates and written quotes can be provided before work commences, there is a fee
for this.

Plumber per hour (General): $95.00 + gst

A Letter From Howard White

1970

Founded on a legacy of dedication, expertise, and a commitment to serving your heating and cooling needs. As the owner and operator of L B White, I am honored to share our story with you, as it's a tale that spans decades and generations.

L B White was born from the vision and hard work of Leslie Barrie White, fondly known as Barrie to all who knew him. In 1960, Barrie embarked on an apprenticeship journey with Lawrence B. Woodley and in 1970 he lay the foundation for our company's enduring success. His passion for the craft and his unwavering determination set the stage for what would become a remarkable family tradition.

1983

Following my father's footsteps I began my apprenticeship in 1983 and immediately took the reins of the Rheem service, a responsibility I executed with exceptional skill and dedication. My deep understanding of heating systems and his commitment to delivering unparalleled service earned us at L B White a reputation as a true industry experts. This legacy of excellence was further nurtured by my fathers genuine care for every client he served.

1995

Personally, I had the privilege of working alongside my father for three decades, imbibing his values, knowledge, and work ethic. Those years were a source of tremendous growth for me, and they laid the groundwork for the transition I undertook with great honor. This immersive education not only refined my technical skills but also nurtured a profound understanding of the essence of quality service and the importance of fostering strong client relationships.

2010

When Barrie retired in 2010, I stepped into the role of guiding L B White, an enterprise that had become not just a business, but a symbol of our family's commitment to quality and integrity. My mother Colleen White still to this day keeps an interest in the runnings of L B White.

At L B White, we stand on the shoulders of our history. We are a team dedicated to upholding the standards set by Barrie and to continuing the legacy he forged.
